Anubias love very low light as too much algae growth on there leaves can cause leaves to wilt/die. Java fern is prob one of the easiest plants to take care of.

Are LED lights ok for growing low-light/maintenance plants (java fern, anubias)?

Thank you! :thanks: :fish2:

What size tank and what's your budget? The short answer is yes, but not all LEDs are the same. I don't think using watts per gallon is relevant to anything other than T12/T8/CFL lighting. LEDs especially.

I recently got a new tank and it came with some cheap LEDs. Before I upgraded my lights I had some anubias in there growing fine. Most low light plants should work with LEDs.
