I'm setting up a 29 gallon planted tank right now and i want to put in some floating plants but I'm pretty sure water lettuce and duckweed are illegal in California. Does anybody know any alternative floating plants that I can use in my tank that isn't illegal in California that can work in a 29g

I do not believe duckweed or water lettuce are illegal. The issue is actually shipping across state lines with plants and California.

Duckweed, water lettuce, anacharis, red root floaters, water wisteria are all legal sold in California. They are not legal to put into native water ways.

OHMAN I wish I could but I'm pretty young so I don't think I'd be allowed to go, but basically I just have to find a vendor that is within California to be able to purchase something like water lettuce or duckweed??
