can i grow most plants without CO2 with 2-3 wpg i haven't decieded want size tank but i was thinking 36in long mabye a 30 gal

Can i use the haegan co2 system with a 30 gal if i get it

At 2-3wpg co2 is not absolutely necessary but a very good idea. You are more likely to have algae problems without CO2.

The Hagen system is a little small for a 30gal, but a whole lot cheeper than pressurized systems.

If I was you (note: I'm a cheep-skate with a tight budget) I would set up my 30, put in the plants I wanted and see how things work. You may or may not find you need CO2.
