hi AA!
I have a 29 gallon tank that i would like to have lightly planted. Java moss, ferns, anubus, low light plants in general. I don't really want to do to much dosing or CO2. In fact i don't want to do CO2 at all. Can someone recommend a fluorecent ballast that would be a good fit for this situation?

Tank is 30 " long.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again AA! ^^

You could buy a 1x65W PC fixture and use a 50/50 bulb. This way, if you ever decided you wanted more light, you could do so simply by changing out the bulb and not have to buy a new fixture.

Aim for somewhere between 29 to 44 watts and you'll have enough light to grow the plants you want without having to worry about CO2.
