Lighting?

For a planted tank that has mostly low-medium light plants that are hardy, which would be the better light? Ive heard good things about both. (Plants: crypts, java fern, dwarf sag, rotala, jungle val, etc)

IMO, definitely the T5NO. I've heard generally nothing good about the Marineland LEDs, but the T5NOs are supposed to be decent. You would probably be at low-medium light with them on a 55.

Personally, I'd check out www.marineandreef.com and Kens Fish - Home of quality tropical fish food and supplies. You can get better lighting cheaper usually and I haven't seen a negative experience with either online yet. Caveat... I have never ordered from m&r.
