Lighting Fixture for a 36 Gallon Bow Front?

Thanks to Mr. X I found a site that appears to be selling very affordable aquarium lighting, would this fixture allow moderate light plants? The aquarium is about 18-20 inches deep depending on how you're measuring, be it from the top of the substrate or the bottom of the tank. I'm in no hurry to purchase anything yet as I'm still in my planning stages with my friend.
