does anybody know where to find a 72" freshwater light that is atleast 384w
i cant find one anywhere. the only 72" lights i can find have actinic bulbs that i would immediately have to replace at about $40 a piece

unfortunately, yes, that's the reality. Big giant, high light tanks are usually saltwater tanks, so that's how the manufacterer's determine they should put SW bulbs in them.

some places will let you swap bulbs though.

why not go with 2 36" lights? THIS light will give u exactly 384 watts if u get 2. but it also shows a salt bulb in there. i dont think any company makes a high wattage freshwater light like u want. u could also do 4 of THESE. a little less pretty but would give u more controll over your lighting options and cost the same as the 2 36" 2X96 watt lights. justa few suggestions for ya.
