Hi guy's recently I bought a 6ft 100g tank and I'm in the middle of building a stand and sorting the lights out for it.

I was looking for some advice on the lights as I have a 4ft lighting unit with 4 x 54w tubes in that I would like to use and was looking to save money by using this along side a 30cm led unit that is suitable for a 2ft tank. If I were to keep the planted area of my tank with in the 4ft area under the 4x 54w and a nice open swimming area towards the end of the tank where the led lighting is, would my plants have a good chance of surviving and surviving well?

I quite like the idea of the lighting looking quite staggered I feel this could make my tank look more natural?

Any thoughts?
