Will 62 watts of t5ho on a 37 gallon tall tank be too much lighting if I don't want to do co2? I could do liquid if I had too.

And any other suggestions for light fixtures? I want a low tech tank but still would like to grow medium light plants.

That should be the lower end of medium light on your depth of tank. You should be able to do low tech. I strongly suggest dosing some extra macro and micro ferts and look into daily dosing of liquid carbon such as Excel or Metricide 14. Your low tech tank plants will do even better. OS.

Thanks. Any suggestions where I should order my light fixture from?

Unless you're just itching to buy a new fixture, you should try the ferts and liquid carbon with it first. It could be just right for a med. light tank. OS.

No, what I have right now is just the led good the tank came with, which is not at all for growing plants.sorry
