Hello again

Can anyone recommend a good background plant for low light set up?

Something other than Sag

I saw summat in local fish store that kind had long storks with one big leaf on the end slightly texture light Anubis and dark green. Any ideas what is may be?

Also any other recommendations would be great.

I use Crypt balansae
Ludwigia repens
Myriophyllum mattogrossense ( med light...but grows for me )

Depending on tank size,
Jungle Vals...but they can grow very long.

What kind of lighting do you have? I switched from full spectrum to flora max and now have red ludwigia and pennywort growing like crazy in the back of my 16g. And I'm currently only using liquid ferts.

Balensae looks nice. Not keen on the myrio though.

Dude, I have had excellent luck with Wisteria. Mine struggled hard at first and was my very first plant. It had all the lower leaves brown up and fall off and when I was about to give up, it sprung up and now is HUGE and reaches the top of my 29 gallon. It opens up during the day and closes up at night. Its a cool plant and worth looking into. I plant mine and use root tabs. Swords do well for me too.

Hygrophila corymbosa
Bacopa caroliniana or monnieri
Corkscrew val
Crypt balansae or spiralis
Ludwigia repens
Swords

Depending on your ferts you could also try...

Hygrophila augustifolia
Hemianthus micranthemoides

Thanks. I haven't had a problem with wisteria either. I didn't know how high it grew though and was thinking is could be used as a foreground plant. I've thinned a shed load of wisteria from the last rescape. It will grow back. But now after replanting the back looks bare and just wanted a couple of fast growing longer plants to break up the back.

That was before the rescape. The main reason for the rescape was to add more gravel as it wasn't deep enough at the front.

I have hygro polysperma, Ludwigia repens, amazon sword, water wisteria.

I recently removed corkscrew val and bacopa.

I definitely like the balansae. I'll see if they have that anywhere.

Thanks
