lucky bamboo

hay guys.....hope all is fine.

can i put a " Lucky Bamboo " inside my aquarium.....i have 180 liter tank with cichlids and and some others......and if i can put it does it hurt my fishes ?

It won't hurt your fish, but "lucky bamboo" (which isn't bamboo at all) will eventually die if kept completely submerged. It is a marsh plant that needs its leaves up in the air. And depending on the type of cichlids you have they may just shred it anyway.

As long as the leaves are out of the water it can survive. We've got it in 2 tanks and it's thriving.
