madagascar lace

I bought a big madagascar lace plant today and after researching it, it seems like I bought a really difficult plant to keep! It's already started turning brown in some spots and I've only had it for 5 hours. Any ideas what I can do to help?

Should probably add that it's a 25 gallon tank with a 6000K T5 HO light with two 24 Watt bulbs. I dose Flourish Excel daily because I don't have a CO2 system.

Does anyone have experience with this plant?
