miracle gro organic

There was a post that someone was using miracle gro organic as their substrate but didn't really give any info about it. Has anyone used it before or know anything about this? Curious on how it would affect fish and water chemistry

I've used it. If you mineralize it first, it's not a bad idea. I don't suggest putting it in the tank without mineralizing though, as you'll have about 2-3 months of algae blooms.
