More Plants! Large Pics via links.

Once again the generosity of Travis Simonson is oozing out of this forum like liqueur from a bottle.
Its sweet and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Travis sent me a group of MTS and three great plants, what a guy!

I wasn't able to get any pics of the mts as my photo skills are lacking on small objects,
but I was able to take about 30 pics of the plants and get 3 good ones

Here is the lovely Ludwigia ovalis.

This is currently in my invert/plant grow-out tank (10 gal).

This is an interesting one, Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides,
I believe the common name is water pennywort.

As you can see its just floating right now in my Asian tank(20L gal).
I wasn't sure how it should be planted, I didn't really see an end to it.
How were you growing it Travis?

This one is my favorite, Travis must have subconsciously known I love crypts
because he sent me an awesome specimen of C. wendtii "Tropica.", also in the asian tank.
The pic really doesn't show it well but it has a great deep purple color.

This last pic is of my South American tank(29 gal).
Nothing new, just thought I would include all my tanks.

Thanks again T!

Thanks man,

I love your paludarium!

I'm torn between trying one myself or a dwarf puffer tank with a 12 gal I have.

Im trying to keep my MTS under control, I Swear!

Glad you like them Droc And those are some pristine looking planted tanks - wow! The Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides is very similar to Hydrocotyle verticellata, it grows via runners but can get sort of tangly unlike its cousin. I usually push a bundle of it into the substrate by its roots and then just let it do its thing. Late in the day some of the pads will pearl beautifully with a single large O2 bubble squeezing out of their tops. Very cool as an accent plant

Please post pics of whatever you create next. I think your asian tank is my favorite so far.
