Mowing the DHG lawn

My dhg is now about 6" and has completely carpeted the open space in my tank after only 4 weeks. Now I need to trim it. Anyone have a technique to trim this stuff without scattering needles everywhere?

Oh and the tag at the fish store said E. Parvula. It's definately not parvula, too big, it's acicularis. Beware! Even aquatic nurseries don't seem to know what they've got.

just get some stainless steal scissors and trim it.

You could siphon while you trim.

I turn off my filters and trim. The trimmings float to the top and I skim off.
