Very nice carpet of hair grass by specs i meant what lighting, what filter, do you run co2 any information on your tank.

I have two filters a fluval g3 and a jebao 440 the light is a odyssea T5ho with 4 54w 6500k bulbs,pressurized Co2 system run off of pinpoint pH controller with a reactor and I use dry ferts and root tabs.

I've never had a aquarium before I thought I'd give a planted tank a try its been up for about 20 week and things seem to be going good.

Yes that is java moss on the DW there's a few java ferns some amazon sword and I forget the name of the red plants.

Thanks I found out if I trim it once every two or three week it grows faster and thicker and my army of red cherry shrimp keeps it clean
