I have a single T5 ho catalina fixture with a 6500k bulb over my 55 gallon. so I know I have enough light. I just put these plants in 5 days ago. I expected for leaves to fall off due to shock to new environment but not for the plants to melt away. Stems are turning dark brown. I was able to dose flourish once during this time and I keep lights on for 7 hours a day. What can be causing this? I thought this was a fairly easy plant? The tank is stocked with corys, mollies, cherry barbs, a BN pleco and bloodfin tetras.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm not using co2

Some pictures would help. Is there any green left? Melting often happens with lots of plants but they eventually rebound. if the conditions they were in before differ drastically they will melt. Have you checked your water quality lately?

From his other threads it looks like he doses Seachem flourish, someone recommended for him to dose excel but he doesn't say if he is going to or not.
