Natural CO2 system

Has anyone tried or currently use the Nutrafin natural CO2 system before? If so, how does it fair in the realm of natural/DIY systems?
I just bought it from Big Al's Online the other day(quick as hell shipping, because I live an hour away from their warehouse). It was a bit pricey for what it is, but I thought it would be better than looking at an unsightly 2L bottle.

It's basically just a DIY CO2 system. All the $30 buys in the end is aesthetics, as it functions identically to a 2L setup (although the 2L might have more volume for the yeast mash).

Not poking fun, but it's funny how you reiterated my initial thoughts and answered my question as subsidiary remark in brackets....lol. None the less thanks for the info.
