Need Advice For Good Lighting!

Dear Community,

Seems like my water sprites and amazon swords are starting to turn brownish. I was wondering what would be a good light source for a 10 gallon tank? I do use root tabs and I do already have a light source, but I'm not sure if it's even good.

My light source right now is Odyssea 24W Compact Fluorescent Bulb 10000k

google diatoms. they might be the culprit and eventually will go away (or so they say...)
