I have a planted aquarium with some dwarf hairgrass, Java moss, and rotala wallichii in my tank. Just recently I noticed some leaves in the surface of the water that doesn't really seem like any of the other plants. It closely resembles the Java moss but I'm not sure.

It's just a clump of leaves with roots at the bottom but a little to large to be Java moss.

Do you have any idea where it could have come from, since I never had that particular plant in the start of my aquarium.

Much like duckweed, it probably hitchhiked on one of your fish or plants and has been secretly growing lol
