New Plants!!

Just bought some Java fern and floating hearts! Going to put the fern in my 30 and divide the hearts in my 30 and 10. Excited!

Put the Java fern in my 30g and some of the floating hearts in each of my tanks. I have regular stock lights, nothing special. So I am wondering if I need to add any fertilizer? Guy at the lfs said they would be fine without fertilizer. Just wanted to be sure though...?
