new tank what lights

Hi I'm new here can someone plz help me I have a new tank 3ft by 1ft by 1ft n I am gettin t5 bulbs do I get 1 39w or 2 39w some one plz help I wanna go heathy planted thanks guys

Depends. Two t5s over a tank will grow beautiful plants or algae depending on CO2, ferts, etc. One might just be pushing it.

You can do a beautiful tank with t8 and low-medium light.

I have under gravel fert cnt remember which one I also put the tablets in, I was tryin to stay away from co2 at the minute

1 light should be enough if you are going for low to med lights plants without co2

2 if you are going for high lights plants
