I have several tanks and am working into planted tanks. Started a planted nano shrimp tank which is doing great! Thought to expand by adding some plants to my 27 gallon cube that houses 10 neons, 6 glolight tetras, 2 peppered corys, 1 Betta and 3 cherry barbs. Added an Amazon Sword and an Amazon Compacta today. The thing is that the substrate is Black Tahitian Moon Sand. In the nano, I used a plant substrate. Also, the lighting is a Marineland LED fixture atop the glass. Any input on anything I should do different? Some of the background plants are artificial for now, but plan to ultimately replace them. Just looking for input on my set up. 27 Planted.jpg
