Parasite? Snail?

What is this and why am I having so many issues

I woke up this morning and saw this I don't even know what to do anymore.

I tried to grab it and get it out but I lost it. Now I dont know where it is.

I am a lot less concerned if it's a snail but something is telling me it isnt.

Is it dangerous? There seems to be only one but you never know.

It appears to be a developing snail. I can't get a big close up pic to confirm so if you see it again, get as close as you can for a pic then remove the item from the tank if you do not want snails.

Snail, could be a baby ramshorn snail or a similar species that doesn't get as big and has the shell on a different angle. If you don't want it, remove it.

Thank you so much! That's a relief,
I can't seem to find it anymore but I don't mind snails (yet) lol.
