ph controller?

I have recently started to order all the supplies I need for my co2 system for my 35 gallon tank. This is my first co2 system... should I get a Ph controller? I have the money for one but I want to know if it would be spent better else were. Any thoughts? Also are there any disadvantages to a Ph controller?

well i was wondering the same thing and MF recommended its a wast of money but fort has a couple diff set ups but its all up to you is what they told me so i am going without ph controller ......
