Hello,
I have just started planting my tank in the last 6 months. I started with java fern and amazon swords. It has been going great. I got a new light for my 125gal and wanted to try my hand at a new plant so I picked Cabomba as my new one. I love how it looks....but.... the next day after work I come home to a tank of floating shredded Cabomba.... I replanted what I could and the next day .... same thing.... im not sure what I can do if there is anything I can do... any input would be great...

My stock is as follows. ...
1 - Blue Gourami
6 - Boesemans Rainbowfish
5 - Neon Tetras
2 - Clown Loach about 3"
6 - Glass Catfish
1 - oto
10 - Green Tiger Barbs
3 - Denisoni Barb
2 - GBR

A few of your fish will be interested in digging around, darting through, or nibbling on plants.

You may consider giving the following genuses a try:
Anubias
Crinum
Vesicularia
or any floating species

These plants tend to perform better in active tanks.

Good to see it is not just me :) Sometimes I think the fish are vindictive - forced to hear the latest rap music, right we'll take it out on the plants....

So true....lol
