Your Plant

Hello fish...

There are many hybrids of the Melon sword. New leaves of some hybrids are red and become dark green as the plant grows. Your plant is apparently a young plant. I think the lady is correct.

Soooo the leaves will start to turn green later on?

It could be a red indian sword, I have one in my tank and it looks very similar. It is a hybrid sword.

Okay, so I'm taking it's a true aquatic plant good. Anyways, the leaves are growing good and the new shoots come out red. I really like the red

Yeah, I'd say it's aquatic... narrowing it down may be a bit of a task since there are so many varieties... which I dont really think it matters... red melon works. Some good root tabs with lots of iron will help with the red.

Yeah, when I got it the roots were long and had to trim em a lil. Overall, it's a pretty nice plant.
