Plant ID please

Does anyone know what the name of the two plants flanking the Java moss. The one on the right is slightly whiter than the other but both look like the same plant minus the color. Also, as stem plants, do they need root tabs?

Looks like cabomba. If they are, I read that they are not heavy root feeders. That they absorb most nutrients through their leaves. Root tabs will help though for sure.
