I have a 29g tank that I want to add live plants to, can anyone suggest some plants that are easy to care for? The substrate will be all sand. I will have fluorescent lightning although I don't know the exact wattage and such right now. I also don't mind doing easy fertilizers such as root tabs and liquids. I'm not really into mosses and plants that will outgrow the hight of my tank (18"). I was looking into anubias and java fern but I'm not crazy about having to tie it to something. I understand I'm picky and if I need to compromise, I will, I'm just looking for some plants that I might have overlooked.
