Thanks!

I updated that last post since I finally got them ID'ed. It turns out my viejita are actually macmasteri. Apparently true viejita are hard to find. Turns out that top one is another male macmasteri. Hopefully I don't have any problems out of those!

I've seen a second one that I know is trifasciata....but I'm not sure if its male or female. Fingers crossed I have atleast 1 of each sex.

FTS coming soon. I need to trim the plants to my liking. :D

Great looking tank and pictures! You definitely gave this newbie some ideas for her future tank! : ) hope it turns out half as well as yours did : )

New FTS:

I added Blyxa japonica in front of the R. wallichi (right side). The wallichi doesn't look great now. I trimmed it about a week ago and it hasn't grown back nice and pink yet. :) I have to give it time.

And a couple pics from the tank:

The tank is getting full, fish-wise now.

6 Rummynose tetras
11 Corydoras hastatus
3 Apistogramma macmasteri
2 Apistogramma trifasciata
3 long fin albino Bristlenose plecs (growing out....~1" right now)

Thanks for looking!

Okay this just isn't fair. It makes me want to reach through my monitor and start playing. Lovely growth, healthy plants, great overall scape.

I finally ripped out the HC and HM and replanted! It looks tons better and the fish are much happier. Some of the stems also got trimmed this week, so its not as overgrown now. :D
