Planting my 29g

So my tank is 2 weeks old and ive got a few fish in there, I took out the semi-aquatic plants and threw them out cause they were turning brown, didnt fertilize or anything. I would like to have some live plants in there for two reasons, they help keep the tank happy and they look better and more natural then the pink and blue plastic ones I have now. lol. Is it too early to put some live plants in now? and if not, then what would yall suggest I put in there? Thank you ahead of time. -Robert

It's not to early to put plants in now. I'm not sure what type of light you have, but you can always get low light plants. Low Light Plants - Aquaria Article at The Age of Aquariums - Tropical Fish
