Hi everybody!

I'm just wondering if anyone can list some plants that would be good for a beginner like myself. Maybe some that don't need a co2 system or special lighting to thrive.

I'm planning on hopefully being able to add a few easy to care for plants to one of my ten gallon tanks that is housing one male betta fish and two albino cory catfish.

-Thanks!

Go to aquariumplants.com look under low low light plants also they have plants for beginners good luck on your planted tank

I added some floating water lettuce today to my aquarium and love the look. The water lettuce is super easy to maintain and grows well.

The only plants I can suggest for very low lighting are Anubia's, Java Ferns, Bolbitus, and Crypts.

Anubia, Java Ferns, and Bolbitus need to be tied onto driftwood or a rock. Crypts can be planted in gravel but need to have a root tab since they are heavy root feeders.
