Plants: Sooner or later...

Sooner or later, any healthy plant I have does the same thing. The leaves turn completely transparent and die a slow death. Usually not all the leaves, but one or two. This usually takes a couple months. They look fine and then you notice they are not well. I use a daily liquid carbon fertiliser/feed.

Any thoughts?

What's your lighting like?

jetajockey is right. This sounds like it could be a case of insufficient lighting.

Or nitrates.

Lights are on 8-9 hrs today and nitrates are in low range consistently.
