My husband and I were discussing a way to get more circulation in my 46 gallon bowfront tank. He does NOT like the idea of adding a bubbler because he thinks it will look stupid in the current setup... I dont think it'd look back by hind my wall of vals, but w/e.

We came up with the idea of possibly getting a small powerhead, and putting it in the top right corner, opposite of the filter, but I'm not sure if thats a good idea, or really even needed.

Plants:
Italian Vals
Rotala
Wisteria
Dwarf Sag
Anubias
Java Fern

Fish:
Angels
Rams
Cardinal Tetra
Glowlight Tetra
BNP
Ghost Shrimp

It depends on your current filtration turnover and location. Is the intake tube opposite of return tube? By the looks of the tank, it looks pretty healthy to me. If all the plants are growing, than nutrients are all through the water column and plants are feeding. I would only add water circulation to help dead spots but if your tank isn't troubled, don't do anything.
