Does anyone here have any experience with giant hair grass (Eleocharis montevidensis)? What are its demads? Easy/hard plant to grow? Will it work under moderate lighting with root tabs? or is CO2 a must with it? As always, any info is always appreciated.

It is an easier plant to grow assuming you meet its nutrient and lighting requirements. It grows nice and thick in a tank with moderate or higher lighting and co2 injection. I wouldn't attempt it in lower light setups as it tends to brown/yellow out in those conditions. I have never tried growing it without CO2 injection, but I have seen others keep it alive that way... it just grows much faster and thicker with CO2.
