Question about LED Bulbs?
I have an
LED
bulb (6500K), can I use this to grow some aquatic plants?
And also, should I remove the globe or leave it in place?
Thank you

I am assuming this is designed to screw into a standard bulb socket? Depending on how large/deep the tank is the bulb will likely work for you. I would suggest a reflector of some kind to focus the light down into the tank.

I'll be using it for a desk lamp. I have a custom 10gal tank 16"x12"x12" and I'm planning to have a low-tech tank

I expect that will be sufficient light for that size tank.
