I recently bought some Riccia Fluitans and at the moment it's too small for me to keep tied down in a net - i used a net with small holes but they were still too big and most of it has come out.
So rather than having the hassle of trying to tie it in the net again i thought i'd let it float and grow for a while before trying to tie it up again.

What i'd like to know is if anyone has any good ideas of how i can stop it from floating all over the top of my tank. i'd like to keep it in one corner, and if possible stop the fish and snails from nibbling at it.

TIA!

I was thinking of using a breeding net, but as my tank is only 12G it'll take up half the tank :(

How about bundling it loosley in a net and floating that? Riccia is indeed very messy and if you let it float around freely you'll be picking bits of it out of the tank for months :)
