We're adding 10 RCS to our 20 gallon planted livebearer set up this week. We currently have mollies, guppies, corys, and a sm. pleco (Rio Negro). We've never kept shrimp before, any suggestions? The shrimp that we're getting are tiny 1/4 inch size.

IMO buy a couple more than you want, because i bought some and they died the next morning. Also if you have a breeding net in your tank they will climb into it.

Make sure they have plenty of cover... most fish will eat the juvies as snacks if they can't hide well.

Thank you both for the advice. We'll be adding more plants, as the shrimp are coming with several different small starter plants, and we'll put in a breading net too.

Plants:
java moss
subwassertang
camboba
Brazalian Pennywort
Hornwort
Amazon frogbit
duckweed
ludwigia
najas
