If a red tiger lotus bulb got covered by accident and the leaves shortly died after, could the bulb re-sprout new leaves and come back to life if moved? Or is it most likely dead at this point?

Yes it may sprout new leaves. I often take bulbs that sprout leaves and remove them from the bulb as they get root systems established and the bulbs will continue to produce over time.

Cool... thanks, man. I'm going to search for the bulb and move it into the open. Hope it springs back to life.
