Red Wendtii

I recently got two red wendtii for my tank. I have black sand. Should I add root tabs? If so, what kind do you recommend?

Root tabs would be beneficial. I use Seachem in my tanks. Be prepared for slow growth and having them melt back. It's a thing with most crypts that it can take them a while to get settled in a new tank. Once they do, they're generally pretty hardy.
