I've had pressurized CO2 on my 55 gallon tank now for a little over a week, and I've been noticing that the water level in my bubble counter has started dropping slightly. I assume this is normal as time goes on and that I'll need to refill it at some point. I was just wondering what the best way to go about refilling it would be. Should I just shut off my CO2 tank and close my needle valve completely and then open up the bubble counter and pour some water in, or is there some other method of doing it so that nothing goes wrong when I unhook the tubing and stuff?

You don't need to unhook or close anything.
The pressure in the bubble counter isn't enough to even feel.
Just take the top off and fill with the water of your choice, tap or tank.

you can also wait until it drops some more its not like it must be done right away. once its set really doesnt do much other then you can easy check to make sure its still putting out co2.
