Removing dead leaves

I have amazon sword which have a couple of dying leaves, do i just cut the leaf off the stalf or remove the complete stalk and leaf?

the closer to the roots the better and after u cut off the dyin leafs it speeds up the grow rate

Can you leave dead leaves lying in the tank for shrimp to feed on?

Or, if your fingernails are long enough, use them to pinch the leaves off at the roots. Scissors can get tricky IMO/E.

Unfortunately, long fingernails=hard to play the piano. Gotta practice every week. So....trimming with scissors is the only option

get a scissors that has blunt ends on it. i found one in the dog grooming section of pet store. or you can find a smaller one where they sell baby cuticle scissors. at least if there's a close encounter with one of the fish they won't get stabbed.

even if u dont have long finger nails u can still doit, thats how i doit and i dont have long finger nails
