I like to see a really heavily planted tank and I like number 2 better as the plants just seem to have a nice balanced flow to them. You'll have to post pic's as the grow and before you have to trim them. The more open piece of DW also allows for better viewing. Nice!
 
very nice tank. what fish are you keeping? your plants look great! i like the placement of the driftwood also.
 
Currently i have a good clean up crew. Amanos, dwarf bristle nose pleco, pitbull plecos, borneo suckers, panda garra loaches, bamboo shrimp, flying fox, dwarf orange crayfish. I'm slowly quarantining CPDs. My last attempt w/o qt was a disaster. Thank you
