Hi, I'm thinking I might want to start planting my 10g tank, however I'm still very new at it.
All I have currently is those plant bulbs from PetCo/PetSmart and I'm wondering if those Seachem plant roots would be beneficial for them? I planted the bulbs almost two weeks ago, did a water change today and it looks like my lily is growing roots! I figure I should try to help them grow as best as I can.
I guess my question is whether the kinds of plants found in those packages benefit from root tabs or not.
Also, my ghost shrimp occasionally nibble on the parts of the bulbs sticking out of the sand, is that going to harm my plants?
And one of them had some white fuzz on it. I wiped it off but is that bad for the plant too?
I have sand substrate, nothing else.
I appreciate all the help!
