Hi, so I've been looking around online for sand to buy for my fish tank. I've got to say this sand is expensive. I also searched up other sands such as playsand that is added to sandboxes and I would like to know if I could use it. It's pretty cheap too compared to like $20 for a 20lb I found this play sand on amazon for $9 and it's 50lbs. Heres the link to see it:

I'd suggest PFS (pool filter sand) over PGS, you can get 50lbs for $10. PFS doesn't compact, has a round grain that's safer for fish that like to scavenge (booking) and doesn't fly as easily as fine grain sand, plus it's been great for me in my planted tanks. You can find PFS at leslie's pool supply.
