Due to an unexpected move, I was forced to leave a tank full of melon swords with a friend. My friend failed to mention to me that my tank started growing mass quantities of hair algae and I’ve had to pull all of my plants to clean it off as best i can. Unfortunately these plants are a foot tall and the roots are making replanting virtually impossible. What can I do to make this manageable without killing my plants? I’ve been growing these out for over a year and I dont have it in me to start over. Any suggestions?

Trim the roots. Makes it easier to replant and will trigger the plant to grow new ones quickly.

Yep as T said trimming the roots off will have no negative effect so just chop them down and replant [emoji106]
