In the past when I put some plants in one of my 75 gallon tanks, I got snails; I still have snails in that tank. Now I never want to put plants in my tank.

Does anyone have suggestions for gitting rid of snails?

I think I will post this in the general forum too

You can add an assissin snail or two but you won't be able to put any good snails in your tank with them in it. Or you can trap them with a DIY snail trap or try getting some leaf lettuce, run it under hot water until it softens, put it in the tank, and remove snails as they gather. Also snail population explosions happen due to overfeeding. Cut way down on how much you feed and that will also help shrink the snail population.

There's also a solution you can mix up that you dip the plant in before adding it to the DT ill see if I can find the link. Also depending on what you have for fish you could try some snail eating fish like puffers or clown loaches. There are a few others too but those are probably the most common.
