I have ludwigia repens, bacopa monnieri, and rotala rotundifolia in my tank. All of them have some stem rot that's black where it's buried in the substrate. My substrate is dirt capped with Seachem Flourite Red. Is it the way i'm pinching them when I plant them that's causing the stem rot? Is it not enough light? My light is 1400 lumens for 8 hrs a day, about 83 PAR and I dose fertilizers.
Another question, are these plants root feeders?
