Lately there has been alot of posting about mixing glutaraldehyde to use instead of Excel. But there is one important bit of infomation I have completely forgot to give out... Glutaraldehyde must be stored in a container that doesn't allow any light to penetrate in. Light will actually cause the Glut to break down and be worthless for using as a liquid carbon. I can't find the article giving an exact explanation of what happens but will post it if I can find it again. The thing is, just be sure to use a non-see through container. I kept some old gallon Excel bottles and use those, plus then I know exactly what is in there. Just wanted to pass this information on to anyone planning on making the switch and sorry I totally forgot to mention it.

I actually ordered a uv blocking glass bottle it was a 32oz amber Boston round and I even spray painted it flat black.
