Strange growth from plant

I have a few plants in my tank and I can only name one- annubis... anyway, I have a plant with a strange worm-like growth coming from it! Anyone know what it is?

Second pic is on the leaf of the plant if anyone can identify it! Got the plants from petsmart...

Don't know what type of plant that is, but that bit appears to be the start of a new plant.

Just wait till it develops more roots then pop it off.

Similar to my Java fern. I thought it was BBA at first but it's new plants.

Had the exact issue with my java fern. I agree those are new plants developing, eventually you'll have a ton to carpet your tank with that plant .
